One day those eyes
that shine ‘cross skies
Will come to life
and gleam for me,
And then I will
redeem this heart -
By your soul set free.
One day I’ll kiss
that mouth of smiles,
Its lipstick brink
blushed warm and wet,
With longing for
all the coming
Times we won’t
forget.
One day I’ll take
that gentle hand
To curl it tight
within my own,
And then adorn your
bridal bough
With a diamond throne.
One day that
lissome smooth body
Will
purr and moan entwined with mine.
Then we will sleep
our little death
Tangled in love’s
vine.
